Keeping Your Phone Ringing with the RIGHT Customer
Updating LSA Ads are the single most important thing for keeping your ads delivering the exact leads you want to get.
Because the updating requires understanding of when the appointment was set and if the quote was accepted, someone with that level of awareness should be updating the leads.
Google acts as a “Matchmaker” putting you with people that are using their system searching for a service. Follow through all the way to getting a 5 Star Google Review is the equivalent of “Getting Married”.
To update your leads, you start at the Top Left, go to LEADS
Then SORT your list. This is super common to miss!
You can sort by a variety of options.
Messaging Leads
We can send the messaging leads to any phone number – or none at all. If they are sent to the owner, they may not recognize THIS IS A PAID TEXT.
AI does a great job of automagicly responding 24/7 in your voice.
Still update the lead in the system with pertinent information
Rate each lead! This is critical feedback for what YOU are looking for.
Messaging Leads usually cost about 40% of the price of a live phone call.
Response Time for Messaging Leads
Response time is critical for Messaging Leads. They should be followed through IN REAL TIME as far as possible and updated within the LSA system.
Real people are on the other end wanting to give you their money.
Hate to beat a dead horse, but AI does a really good job of responding in a prompt and consistent manor.
Updating Phone Leads
The goal for most leads is to book the appointment. This is the equivalent of a “First Date” in the analogy of Google acting as a matchmaker.
Fill in the Customer Name, Email and any notes needed.
Rate the Lead – Once again, this is direct feedback from you to Google on the type of Leads you want. Google wants to make a match.
The single most important aspect of this is BOOKING THE APPOINTMENT – which is accessible by clicking on the EDIT button at the TOP RIGHT.
Rating The Leads
Back to the lame analogy of Google acting as a Matchmaker, this is the response from the FIRST DATE.
Your response options are:
- Very satisfied
- Somewhat satisfied
- Neither satisfied nor dissatisfied
- Somewhat dissatisfied
- Very dissatisfied
Marking the Lead as Booked is extremely critical
If Google can follow the lead from the phone call to the booking to the work being completed to the rating of the call all the way to them leaving you a 5 star review is the ultimate gold standard.
